Maple, Sriracha, and Bacon Pumpkin Seeds

Halloween is over, but pumpkin fever is still holding strong. My mouth is watering at the thought of delicious pumpkin pie on Thanksgiving! But before moving too far forward, I must acknowledge an unfulfilled promise that I made in October regarding a pumpkin seed recipe. I even posted a picture of fresh pumpkin seeds on Facebook to tease all of you. That was Oct. 14… tick tock…

Apple, Bacon, & Caramel Cookies

Bacon & Pumpkin Pasta

October is National Pumpkin Month and from latte’s, bread, pie, and cupcakes there is no limit to the pumpkin craze. So why not join the bandwagon? Stuffed Cucumber Cups

I’ve talked previously about the best game day appetizers, bacon wrapped smokies and bacon jalapeño poppers, but if you’re looking for something that’s more refreshing try these stuffed cucumber cups from Black and White Obsession. The cucumber cup is light with a sweet flavor, while the cream cheese and sour cream mixture tastes similar to a Green Goddess dressing that’s irresistible. To be honest, the cucumber and filling is delicious on it’s own, but the garnished bacon adds a tint of salty flavor that brings the appetizer together. These treats will go fast, so I recommend doubling the recipe if you’re hosting a large group!

It’s the perfect appetizer for tailgates, fall picnics, dinner with friends, or even wedding receptions! I hope you enjoy and you can find the original recipe on Bacon Wrapped Somokies Continue reading
